and my NEW! computer is acting up!! So for today i'm limited to the photos I can show you of the new quilt i'm starting. A flying geese in a circle. Hmmm now it's not letting me find the detail photo I took. Back to the apple store you go machine!! Well, OK here's the detail and the whole block. I'm not sure about the solid background but I do kinda like the simplicity. I'll play around today and take some more pix.

A creative block is like writers block. What to do next? Where do I begin? What makes my heart sing?
When this happens I don't sweat it. I take care of business. I clean my sewing room, fold fabric, stack them in color ways, restack them. I finish up projects, distract myself with smaller new ones (like the Waldorf dolls I'd like to show you) I look at magazines and doodle some sketches. I always have a stack of quilt pictures and patterns I cut out as something I may want to try some time, I look through these. I was thinking of a New York beauty and then was thinking of how much I like flying geese. This pattern is something I drafted because I'm still mourning "Sunshine on a Cloudy Day" that got ruined in the wash.
