This sure was fun

I took a Nancy Brown class and it was really fun. I guess she was really preaching to the choir as I was already hook on applique with the flower quilt I'm working on. But I learned a lot and this turned out quite well. It's the smallest quilt I've ever made (18"X 13"). I'm so sorry you missed it Shannon, I missed having you there. Nancy is very entertaining...almost down right goofy. But SO talented with lots of pearls of wisdom and inspiration.

I met the little guy...he's captured my heart...and is pictured here falling asleep sucking on my pinky....just like my daughter did.

and have I told you how much we LOVE fuyu persimmons?! we eat them in salad this time of year with toasted pecans...try it!! These are from a neighbors amazing tree, it's 5 feet high and has maybe 300 persimmons on it!
